!!!Backstory:

Noehlani, called Noe, was born on the beautiful Muluku Islands. Her parents, spice plantation shareholders, loved her and her siblings very much and were wealthy enough to hope for all of them to have good futures in Mugroba. Her mother was a quintessential Muluku Island woman, however her father was an imbali who had settled on the island. Growing up in the lush jungles of Muluku, Noe came to have a great appreciation of beauty; however, the tales of the endless wastelands of the Mugrobi desert always enchanted her. When Noe discovered that some of her father's relatives were visiting the family holdings for trade reasons when she was ten, she begged her parents to allow her to leave with them and go to the Capitol where she could learn of the world and of her place in it. After much begging and cajoling, they relented, and Noe rode with her galdor relatives in style back to Thul Ka, and soon decided that while her relatives provided a roof over her head, she preferred to spend most of her days with other humans and wicks rather than her stuffy relatives. She spent most of her time in the kitchen, learning to cook and run a household.

While in Thul Ka, Noe developed her singing voice, practicing with her cousin's tutors in exchange for delicious dishes that she and the cook prepared. In time, this arrangement extended to the other tutors, and soon Noe had compiled an education fit for a middleclass galdori. She spent six years in Thul Ka, learning everything she could and having entirely too much fun outside the city, where the whitish sand stretched on for miles and the sun made everything so bright as to blind. However, when Noe turned seventeen, she received word that her mother had died in an accident back in the islands, and that her father was returning to Thul Ka. Distraught over the loss of her mother, whom she had kept in contact with over the years through the spice caravans, Noe helped her father get settled with the youngest of her siblings, and decided that the city was no longer enough. Hiring as a cook, she left with a caravan headed to the deep interior of Mugroba, and after a year traveling, found a spice merchant and hired on for Old Rose Harbor, hoping to start a new life there. Singing and cooking for passage to various places, Noe has hopes of joining a Wick Tribe and exploring all of Anaxas, then perhaps the world. She has been living in Old Rose for six months, learning local customs and doing odd jobs.

!!!Personality:

Noe is an optimistic realist. While living with her galdor relatives, she saw both resplendent wealth and hard hand to mouth living. Considering herself mostly useless in the scheme of things, Noe nonetheless wants to make the world a better place. Noe also knows the evils of the world; she and many friends in Thul Ka who walked the thin edge of the law, and some who got hurt doing so. Noe is uncommonly quiet, her voice very soft and unprepossessing, however her words usually carry weight. While kindness and politeness are as common to her as breathing, she has a penchant for flying off the handle and refusing to cooperate when she feels her friends or partners are threatened.


!!!Physical Description:

Noe, while a Muluku Island girl, doesn't really think about looks. Her mother had long dark hair and curving hips, soft lips and big eyes, and her father was tall, straight with a fine nose and strong shoulders, and very dark. Noe inherited her mother’s features with her father's rich skin tone. Big, misty greenish blue eyes and round cheeks make her seem soft, however her straight frame and high head have all the pride of a Mugrobi Wick. Her chocolaty black hair is some odd fusion of straight and kinky, and she wears it boy short with long bangs, not quite shorn, so it sticks out at odd angles. While of average height (5'5"), she seems taller because of her thinness. With her wide hips and small breasts, Noe wears a rather strange mix of Anaxi and Mugrobi fashion.

Noe wants to see the world experience life to the fullest, and discover unknown worlds. She also has a secret desire to meet the Mythic Beasts, growing up, she had always heard of their stories, and wants to be the first to speak to Dapao without dire warnings being marked. However, as far as life goals go, Noe would like to own her own aeroship and see the world from the vast height of the clouds.
