Vienda Again, Cook's Place Intas 7-Mid/Late Evening
He'd made his way back to Vienda the long way, walking, and had taken his time in the doing. His previous traveling companion had come and gone from Doorhaven, apparently having found out what they were looking for, and headed back the way they'd come.
Sarinah was her name. It'd been driven into his brain for the last few days, with the pair of run ins he'd had with her. As Rovin Martin walked down the streets of Vienda in the darkening light, he shook his head, dreadlocks shaking this way and that. Probably a dozen men, if not a hundred, had that name driven into their thick skulls he thought to himself. She was a beauty to be sure, and she was so much more intelligent than she let on. From the look of Cooks, at least on the outside, more than half of the patrons probably did not know that it was a base of operations for the resistance.
Rovin did, and for whatever reason this night, he found himself spiraling towards the place. He'd honestly just gone walking, but he kept noticing, repeatedly, that he would circle around the facility, kept seeing the streets that led to it. Once, he even attempted to go the other direction, and in his wandering and thoughts, he found himself right back there again, standing in his slightly run-down trench coat before Cook's Place, and running a thumb over his facial hair.
"...Pfft. Gods're playin' wit'me t'night." He checked left and right very slowly, and then sighed, throwing his gloved hands up in the air. "Bah! Might's'well!"
Rovin walked up to Cook's, and slowly slipped through the door, sticking his head in and peeking around. The smell was overwhelming, but he knew what places like this were. Places where men spent their money to feel powerful for a night, and generally lost everything in the process. The women were on him as soon as he went through the door, and he gave them polite nods, but kept moving. He wasn't looking for a good time with anybody, like most of the drunkards here, he was looking for a friend who had the unfortunate station to be working here.
He hoped she was alright. But the unusual attention, especially on someone who looked like him, was slightly plesant. Regardless, he could hardly bring himself to look at any of the females eyeing his coinpurse. Just looking for one who's raven hair was streaked with red.

Re: Vienda Again, Cook's Place Intas 7-Mid/Late Evening
Sarinah had come back into Cook's after her quiet chat with the smith. Work was, after all, work. And she did have a job to do, money to earn. She had begun collecting coin for private dances, a little intimate thing that men enjoyed, involving a lot of hip gyrating and 'accidental' brush-ups. The current customer, a rather homely looking fellow with bloodshot opium tripped eyes sat appreciatively as she performed her little routine. Kneeling on the floor, she bent herself back running her hands up her body and through her hair. There was a man at the entrance, the girls were mobbing him. She half paused, her vision adjusting for his up-side-down appearance. Suddenly, she felt her heart skip a beat. Grabbing the man's knees and pulling herself up, she rose, brushing her breasts against his body and face, then whispered in his ear about all the lovely things her friends in Cook's could do for him. With a stroke of his jaw, she turned away.
Taking a breath, she shook her hair back and walked slowly through the room, pushing her way through the customers and fellow workers. Standing slightly behind the crowd of women around Rovin, she smiled, hands on hips, watching him. He was looking around, ignoring the girls, and Sarinah couldn't help but feel a little thrill at the idea he came looking for her.

He had come looking for her.
With a redhead on his right, and a brunette on his left, Rovin didn't manage to notice either, just smiled at the streaked union of those colors as the bearer of them stared at him, with her hands on his hips.
"..'ey. I got invited, didn't I?" He said, with a little smile, slipping free of the female attendants he had procured, and strode right over to Sarinah, a few inches away from her.
"Tha'invite is still warm, aint'it?" He would have given her a once-over, but his gaze stayed high, boring holes into her own eyes.

The dancer looked up at him, his eyes were captivating and she felt her heart race. She half scolded herself for being so smitten by a man she had only met twice, but something about him stirred feelings in her that Cooks had long since killed. She grinned slyly. "For you, but of course." She said softly, cocking one eyebrow. "Where you looking for a dance tonight, sir?" Sarinah asked playfully, slowly tracing a figure eight on her tanned stomach, part of her hoping he wouldn't brush her off tonight. Their last encounter had left her thinking of him all the time, and too often her thoughts went beyond their little meetings.

Rovin nearly shook his head at the utterly forward nature of the woman, but he held himself. This was her place, and her credit was on the line if he refuted her. It was lucky for him, he thought, that the bander had stayed outside. Quite doubtful that Wraith would approve of the place, anyways.
He kept his eyes with her's, although he did drop to what she was doing with her hand for a half second, but he was right back up quickly enough, "Was lookin'for you... But.." He seemed to mull it over, holding his chin with his hand, "If a dance's in with th'package, I can't deny ya work, can I?"
Very slowly, he slipped past her, and brushed half of himself against her, his hand brushing her's. He brushed cheeks with her as well, and when he'd stepped away from her, headed towards a table, she found her hand a bit heavier.
When she would look down to inspect it, she would find a very strange brand of coin there, exotic and not really seeming to be the money of the land... but it was heavy, and it seemed to be made of solid gold. A distinct rarity in these parts.
Whenever she would look up from it, she would find Rovin sitting in a chair, half-facing her, with a more-than-slightly smug look upon his face.
He was sure that the gift, for he knew that he likely did not need to pay for such a service here at her near-home, would be the right price.

She had expected a witty brushoff, but the sudden acceptance was a pleasant surprise. Quote: Very slowly, he slipped past her, and brushed half of himself against her, his hand brushing her's. It was nothing she had ever seen before. But it was beautiful. Nodding slightly, she slipped the exotic coin into her purse, stored in the belt of her skirt, and walked over to the man. Soft music played in the red garnished room, always there in the background from the small quartet in the corner near the stage. The dancer stood before him, swaying in time to the music, her ankles tinkling. She turned, rolling her hips and running her hands up through her hair, lifting it. Letting it fall in a thick red and black cascade, she sat on his lap and arched back, wrapping an arm around his neck and turning her head slightly. "Come with me Rovin, you've paid to have me all to yourself." She said softly, releasing her hold on him and standing, she extended a hand.

He regarded the hand for a long few seconds, and then slowly reached up, and took it, bringing himself to his feet next to her.
He allowed himself to be led off, holding hands with Sarinah, and headed towards the back. He didn't know if he was to hear more about the resistance or whatnot, but the pair of them exited the main venue, towards more darker, more secret corridors.
